Dear Goshala Patrons,

At the outset, we would like to thank you for your continued patronage for our Gosala. With all your generous and continued support, our Goshala has grown in a big way.

Humanity, a strong sense of duty and commitment to abide by shastras have been the founding principles of Vedics Goshala. We have built a strong community of Gopalas dedicated to the cause of sick, injured and abandoned cattle; go-sevaks who delight in the welfare of cattle. Vedics Goshala has become synonymous with timely care for cattle in Tiruchirapalli and surrounding places. It is well known that under the auspices of Sri Ranganatha and benevolent patrons we have been able to provide excellent medical treatment and continued care to cattle in our shelter.  We have been blessed with some remarkable delights this past year which include the birth of calves Chitra (born in chitirai nakshatram), Badri (born in the Tirunakshatram of Lord Badrinarayanan ) and most recently Bhishma (born on Bhishma Ekadashi).

Vedics Foundation has also taken the next big step in medical care, namely a mobile veterinary unit. Conceived with the intention of extending our loving care to a larger circle, we assembled a wonderful team of a veterinary doctor, aids and a fully equipped ambulance, for cattle. But Lord Krishna, the original Gopala, had other plans. Since the mobile unit has started servicing the villages ( around 25 have benefited till now) around the Marakkanam Taluk we’ve cared for not just cows and buffalos, but also sheep, goats, rabbits, horses, donkeys, birds, dogs and cats! We’re humbled by the implicit trust the farmers, and villagers place in our abilities, and hope to continue this remarkable journey of service with all of your encouragement. Vedics Foundation provides the complete financial support for this initiative, and it is executed by our on the field execution partner “Tree Foundation”.
